October 30th – Trick or Treat

The Treat Social Club was honored to host Spencer Day as it’s featured performer.  On this night we had a number of collaborators who came out to support the show.  Sharp & Fine contributed mightily to two pieces that they set for duet dancers.  Dublin and Eric Garland created a pulsing, gut churning rendition of Edgar Allen Poe’s The Raven. Jeannie brought back her piece Neighbors which set the tone for the night of blood, death and revenge. Adam Theis put together a hauntingly fun piece for Dr Seuss’s The Grinch. Swaying forth on the Trapeze was the otherwordly Sandia, performing to Vertigo, another Jazz Mafia original.  Finn Kelly made his composition debut with a piece he co-wrote with Spencer and arranged for big band, called I’m Gonna Haunt You. Spencer also performed Something Wicked from his upcoming album.  Check out the photos posted by Gundi Vigfusson.

Over the past 10 years The Go Game has evolved into the leader in corporate team building running over 50 events a month around the world. They hold the record for the world’s largest mobile phone game with an event in Dallas that featured over 2500 players. To date, over 1 million players have experienced their blend of fun and creativity, and they have grown to a 3 million dollar company with 20 employees across the country. Finnegan is responsible for the technical side of the company and which is poised to release its first iPhone App for SXSW. In his spare time, Finnegan is a jazz piano player around the Bay Area, performing at Revolution Café and Yoshi’s.
